A premiere Snowkite destination with road side access to high alpine terrain.

Sitting at 10,000 feet and exposed to clean wind from any direction, Skyline offers consistent conditions with a long winter season.  The terrain varies from flat and open to intermediate and advanced slopes, offering something for every rider.

The primary riding area is located near the main ridge line at milepost 14, where a large parking lot and restrooms provide easy access to set up.  During stormy days with low visibility, riders may use alternate areas in the Electric Lake Region on Highway 264.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

(from Salt Lake City)

  • Take I-15 South to Highway 6 - Spanish Fork, Price turnoff (go east... towards the mountains.)
  • Take Highway 6 through Spanish Fork and through the canyon to Highway 89 South. (Turn off for Fairview)
  • Turn right on Highway 89 South and take it approximately 30 miles to the town of Fairview.
  • In Fairview turn left at Highway 31 (you will see a sign that says Gateway to Skyline Drive) this road will go over the mountain range towards Huntington. Follow Hwy 31 for 14 miles to reach the Big Drifts area.
